Welcome to the arklinux.org test site. This is a new site that will (maybe) eventually replace the old one. It will be awhile before this site sees any serious improvements.

For those who are wandering why we are designing a new site when the old one is perfectly sound, this is due primarily to the limited free time of our webmaster -- our CMS (Content Management System), Drupal, puts out updates on a rather frequent basis, mostly to patch security wholes. Since our webmasters are not always able to keep up with these updates, and since our site theme isn't always supported by the new version (this forces is to choose a new one), we decided that it would be easier to design our own site from scratch, and cut out the need for security patches, other than those for the PHP interpreter and web server daemon needed to run our site.
